Administrative support employee that is capable of supporting any and all technical programs associated with air traffic.
Duties
Manages the administrative aspects of all technical support programs, (Quality Assurance, Airspace & procedures, training, etc.) Provides management with advice and counsel on the operation of technical support systems for implementation, and planning purposes. Incumbent performs a variety of technical functions independently and ensures that all required content is reviewed and prepared in a prescribed timeframe.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Completion of a security background investigation may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position all applicants must demonstrate in their application that you possess at least one-year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/FG/GS-5-9 in the Federal Service or equivalent level work. Specialized experience is experience in or directly related to the line of work of the position and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable this specialized experience must be at least equivalent to the next lower grade or band level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is experience in performing and conducting program analysis; preparing briefing materials, reports and documents; prioritizing job tasks. Experience in planning and managing the office's daily administrative functions, maintaining automated systems to record, reconcile, validate, and track data; identifying and resolving discrepancies; performing various analytical studies; interpreting and providing guidance; and performing multiple and varying assignments in the areas of financial support, personnel matters, personal property, and travel administration.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
Education
To qualify based on education, you must have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
