This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense. About the Position: This position is located at Fort Johnson, Louisiana.

Duties

Review hardware and/or software to ensure medical missions requirements are met with functionality. Resolve IT equipment or software to ensure operability. Implement system software changes or new operating system releases. Maintain operational status of systems by isolating errors and applying preventative processes. Analyze workflow to develop implementation and/or upgrade plans. Schedule the installation of new hardware, software, and/or applications.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• SECURITY+ Certification required within six months of hiring date.
• Travel Required: Up to 5% Business Travel required.
• A pre-placement medical examination is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• Moderate to heavy lifting up to 25 pounds is required.
