In this position you will work as a member of the Resilience, National Preparedness Directorate, Center for Domestic Preparedness, Curriculum Development & Evaluation Branch. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in state-of-the-art electronic and digital computer-associated techniques and technologies to design and prepare a wide variety of multimedia production work.

The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Utilizing state-of-the-art electronic and digital computer associated techniques and technologies to plan, coordinate, design, and implement visual information support; and Consulting, evaluating, designing, developing, producing/reproducing or procuring visual products. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related OR A combination of education and experience as described This position has an individual occupation requirement - Visual Information Series 1084 (opm.gov). Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study - commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. Some positions may also require subject-matter knowledge of medicine, science, or technical equipment. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.
