The Social Media Producer (Copywriter) is responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy for social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The Social Media Producer will work closely with the Senior Manager of Social Media and digital content team to develop copy that aligns with our social media strategy, strategic priorities, and resonates with our target audience.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-1035-11. For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-09 level in the Federal service, developing digital content on social media platforms (i.e., Instagram, Twitter(X), Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube) related to content and engagement improvements and editing content from subject matter experts for plain language and social media.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
