Duties
Serves as a Career Program Administrator for the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program and Intern Program at DLA Troop Support.
Develops, and implements program administration and evaluation of the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program, which includes all DLA Training Center (DTC) and DLA Troop Support PaCE employees.
Duties are carried out in collaboration with DLA Troop Support directors, managers, supervisors, training coordinators, J1 Human Resources Office, DTC, and the DTC On-site Customer Service Unit.
Establishes milestones for overall goals and objectives of the DLA Troop Support PaCE Development Program and reports accomplishments to higher-level officials.
Provides guidance and advisory services to all DLA Troop Support organizations and top management officials on matters dealing with the assigned PaCE programs.
Implements policy, instructions and procedures governing the overall management of the assigned programs (e.g. interpreting higher level directives, and developing implementation plans).

Qualifications
To qualify for a Career Program Administrator your resume and supporting documentation must support:Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Demonstrable knowledge of various Acquisition Career Programs to enable analysis, to assess the adequacy and availability of assigned DLA corporate PaCE programs, to improve the program, and to serve as an advisor on the Procurement, Supply, and Quality Assurance Career Programs.
Knowledge of assigned education and training fields to provide consultant and troubleshooting services and to resolve complex program administration responsibilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of the regulations, policies, practices, and precedents applicable to the DLA Headquarter and DLA Troop Support PaCE and Intern programs, or other equivalent programs.
Experience in external recruitment, employee development, curriculum development, and training procedures, principles, concepts, practices, guidelines, and techniques to apply them to assigned programs.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
