The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of agency programs and resulting effectiveness issues. Products provide leadership with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative aspects of agency operations and the management of administrative processes. Performing a wide variety of assignments that deal with planning, analyzing and/or evaluating the effectiveness of line or operating programs.

Qualifications

To qualify for this Program Analyst position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Developing technical reports to present process improvements utilizing a variety of databases, data analytics, systems and information technology. Applying and interpreting laws, rules, regulations and procedures related to emergency management functions; and, Researching and analyzing data to produce forecasts, assessments, and reports to provide recommendations for program improvements.
