You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Control Division; Aviation Support Department of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET. If selected, you will serve as Control Division Branch Head.
Duties
You will supervise a team in the daily oversight of the overall operations of the Control Division to ensure logistics support to deploying and detaching squadrons from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI).
You will be responsible for program management and supervision of control division to include Financial Resource Management, Supplemental Aviation Spares Support, Stock Control, and Quality Assurance.
You will exercise leadership in personnel management of the branch, keeping the Aviation Support Department (ASD) Director informed of changes and discussing major problem areas with the Director prior to implementing changes.
You will plan, coordinate, direct, and control the functions of the branch, including developing and establishing Supply Department policies and procedures for Control Division.
You will assign work requirements and goals to Section Supervisors for new, changing, and on-going program functions and/or goals.
You will resolve technical work problems not covered by precedents or established policies.
You will provide detailed instructions on the management of a multi-million-dollar Supplemental Aviation Spares Support (SASS) program including replenishment, inventory, funding, and management reporting of the assets.
You will oversee the research and resolution of all inventory discrepancies, ensuring the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Information System (NALCOMIS) files are updated correctly.
You will prepare, submit, and present reports, data, and charts to the ASD Officer, Director and the Supply Officer as scheduled and/or as requested.
You will work independently or as a team leader performing management studies, analysis, evaluation, development of solutions and preparation of recommendations.
You will support the Commander, Naval Air Force Pacific (CNAP) required training program by actions included but not limited to, deadline management, document audit, long range planning, and lesson development.
You will assist with audit compliance and metrics for the Aviation Support Department.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating or analyzing supply management functions for an aviation program to ensure efficient/effective program support.
