You will serve as a Management Assistant (OA) in the Command Services Department NAVCONSTTRGCEN GULFPORT MS.
Duties
You will manage the command action correspondence and recurring reports database.
You will distribute, serialize, mail, and rout command mail, as well as message controls.
You will provide guidance to personnel to ensure administrative reports are submitted in proper format and in a timely manner.
You will design, simplify, consolidate, improve single and multiple use forms.
You will review forms for possible improvement or expanded use, consolidation or elimination.
You will screen all forms originated by departments of this activity for adherence to design standards required by higher authority.
Requirements

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Manages military correspondence instructions while distributing, serializing, mailing and routing; 2) Ability to read, interpret, plan and administer programs based upon guidance from a variety of sources; 3) Determines customer requirements and provides administrative operational guidance; 4) Responsible for researching and reviewing directives for Record Management processes; and 5) Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Adobe, Publisher in order to prepare briefings and staff reports.
