About the Position: This position locates at Andrews AFB, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Directs business plan performance through statistical analysis of workload, population demand, and clinical operations, and develops solutions to optimize health care delivery. Required to balance full spectrum of resource, clinical, contract management and administrative functions to achieve the best possible patient care. Oversees development and implementation and maintenance of business practices and compliance with product line business plans. Guides business plan performance and Performance Improvement Plans through statistical analysis of workload, population demand and clinical capacity, and develops solutions to optimize health care delivery. Serves as the Access to Care Director leading Access to Care planning efforts, organizing and coordinating resource activities ensuring optimal allocation of fiscal, personnel, equipment, and space resources. Plans, organizes, and coordinates Clinical Practice Administration activities of assigned areas.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• May be required to work uncommon hours/overtime hours to meet mission requirements.
• Work may require occasional travel away from the normal duty station on military or civilian aircraft.
• Will be required to participate in the Tuberculosis (TB) program.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross. Advanced certification (e.g., ALS) does not supersede BLS.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
