Duties
As IT Project Manager, you will:
Provide Office of Safety, Security, and Assest Management project management and critical problem resolution relating to critical system.
Process database analysis, application development and support, and information resources management by OSSAM.
Develop goal for the program and also coordinate maintenance and support activity by working OSSAM with contact.
Assist organizational units in preparing budget and acquisition initiatives that are consistent with organizational priorities for overall direction and coordination of advanced hardware and software maintenance used for critical systems and critical systems infrastructure.
Serve as key advisor in developing policy that are consistent with support and deployment of Infrastructure by OSSAM.
Qualifications
Desired Qualification Requirements/Experience:
Expert knowledge of critical systems such as Physical Access and Protection Systems, Intrusion Detection and Assessment Systems, Video Surveillance system.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, including the ability to effectively work on a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated skill in leading, organizing, and prioritizing policy issues.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills. - Excellent customer services skills.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Applicants must currently occupy a full-time Career or Career Conditional competitive service position within CDC/ATSDR or an Excepted Service position under the Schedule A, Schedule B, or Veterans Recruitment Appointment Authority within the CDC/ATSDR or Commissioned Corps equivalent, unless otherwise specified in the Announcement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
