This position is part of the Plant Operations, Government Publishing Office in Washington,
District of Columbia.
Duties
Performs paramount nonsupervisory assignments primarily.
Ensures the effective delivery of a variety of highly visible printed documents needed for official government business needs.
Establishes and maintains performance metrics that measure the key relevant indicators of success to foster continuous process improvements.
Conducts program oversight by planning and developing agency-wide support services programs, plans, procedures, and methods.
Functions as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts related to maintaining the central GPO motor vehicle transportation activities.
Serves as a CSRA supervisor performing full supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- You must be a current Career or Career Conditional GPO employee to apply.

- Confidential Financial Disclosure Report may be required.
- Selectee may be required to serve a one year probationary period.
- TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. Applicants must have served 1 year at the next lower grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service to qualify
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a FAC-COR Level 1 Certification.
- You must be able to obtain a Fleet Management Certification.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Group Manager, PG - 0301 - 13 , you must meet the following requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
The applicant must have one year equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-0301-12 or higher in federal service.
Specialized experience includes the following duties:
1. Coordinates detailed delivery services to meet various agencies timeline.
2. Supervises the administrative staff and policy direction for project priorities and objectives of the agency.
3. Collaborates with a wide variety of audiences (e.g., staff, customers, and executives) through oral and written presentations.
4. Monitors and inspects the costs, work, and contractor performance to ensure efficient delivery.
In addition to Specialized Experience:
The following is required to be obtained:
1) You must be able to obtain and maintain a FAC-COR Level 1 Certification. and 2) You must be able to obtain a Fleet Management Certification.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used or this grade level.
