This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings (SOB). The Senate Office Buildings is seeking a reliable and hardworking (Night) Custodial Worker to perform a wide range of cleaning and other custodial duties in an assigned group of rooms, offices, and public spaces in the Senate Office Buildings. 

Duties

This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee will be required to report to work during emergencies AND inclement weather situations.

Requirements

  • You must be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Ability to perform detailed custodial duties without more than normal supervision. (ex: Cleans, sweep, mop floors, walls, furniture, rest rooms, corridors, and other building areas and collects trash) Your resume must show that you have experience to perform the duties of the position as described in the vacancy announcement.
