This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Office, Superintendent, House Office Buildings (HOB), Assistant Superintendent, Client Services Division, Labor and Custodial Branch and may be assigned to any section within the Branch. The incumbent is a Custodial Worker Leader and sets the pace of work, provides leadership and instructions and performs and checks a cleaning duty in an assigned group of rooms and public areas.

Duties

Tour of duty for this position may range from:  Day 5:30am to 4:30pm or  Night 9:30pm to 6am.  This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations. The night position is subject to receive 10% Night Differential. 

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Led a team by monitoring, reviewing and checking on work progress of performing cleaning duties in an assigned group of rooms and public areas.
