Duties
You will ensure effective data management, including data accuracy, security, and integrity, formulating and coordinating data collection techniques.
You will support other personnel with the use of data for program management metrics; work closely with internal/external personnel who have responsibilities to apply strategies and implement tools to translate raw data.
You will oversee the management and flow of analytics throughout its life cycle; manage analytics governance strategies, practices and requirements; and organize, store and analyze strategic, and support the development of analytics practices.
You will develop and facilitate analytics-gathering methods and develop strategic insights from data sets and provide recommendations on new analytics technologies and architectures.
You will exercise authority, responsibility and accountability for exploiting the value of PMW 240’s information assets and the analytics used to render insights for decision-making, automated decisions and augmentation of human performance
You will ensure business intelligence systems meet organizational requirements and implement analytics effectively into business processes.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Generally, current federal employees applying for APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the development, interpretation, use and protection of data, data systems, and analytics; or ensuring the adequacy, relevance, accuracy, and legitimacy of data and analytics.
