About the Position: This position is with the 99th Readiness Division, Regional Personnel Support Center, Human Resources Office located at Fort Dix, NJ.

Duties

Supervise and manage a diverse team of civilians, Soldiers (full time and part time) and contractors. Manage staff written responses for leadership's signature to include responses to congressional and special interest groups' correspondence. Review and approve orders (promotion, reassignment, awards) and other administrative correspondence, signing for the Director of Human Resources. Provide supervisory and regulatory guidance to the Readiness Division regional customers. Direct and evaluate the work of subordinate branches. Provide technical guidance on processing of military human resources personnel actions. Provide military human resources services to active, reserve, retiree and family member customers.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-12). Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ComplianceManaging Human ResourcesTechnical CompetenceTechnical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
