About the Position: This position is located at Patrick Air Force Base, FL.
Duties
Assist the Facility Manager in planning, designing and oversight of various projects that encompass maintenance, repair, upgrade and expansion of infrastructure facilities, including utility systems.
Participate in meetings to determine when successive phases of work should be scheduled.
Obtain Information from crew supervisors and work leaders that could affect schedules and/or future workload adjustments.
Prepare or enters completion summary for planning of future maintenance efforts.
Recommends modifications to incorporate client needs/desires, eliminate design deficiencies and/or ensure safety.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- A pre-placement medical examination may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: maintain files and records related to the maintenance and repair of a medical facility. Advise supervisor in the practical and/or technical aspects of office administration such as, budgeting, purchasing, supply management, and/or data processing.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
