This position is located in the Office of the Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift, Office of the Associate Administrator for Strategic Sealift, Maritime Administration (MARAD).
This position is established to provide clerical and administrative support to a Deputy Associate Administrator. You will carry out and coordinate all the clerical and day-to-day administrative support activities which are typically required to accomplish the work of the organization.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must (1) meet the Education Requirement for the series, (2) provide a copy of transcripts for verification, AND (3) meet either the education or experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the following:
To qualify for the GS-07, you must have at least one year of equal or equivalent experience equal to the GS-06, which includes:
Experience managing information distribution and flow between multiple office/parties; and
Experience managing calendars and scheduling.
To qualify for the GS-08, you must have at least one year of equal or equivalent experience equal to the GS-07, which includes:
Experience managing information distribution and flow between multiple office/parties;
Experience providing instructions and guidance to staff members on administrative matters.
Experience managing calendars and scheduling.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
