As a Technical Support Manager, you will provide overall management and line control for the Chicagoland Service Center Operations Division (CSCOD) technical and professional project management staff and will collaborate with senior regional staff on project management strategy, operations and program direction. Location: PBS, Chicagoland Service Center Operations Division (CSCOD). We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

This position is located in the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Chicagoland Service Center Operations Division (CSCOD).  This division is responsible for all aspects of facility operations, including operating, maintaining, and sustaining high quality work environments.

Qualifications

For each job on your resume, provide: the exact dates you held each job (from month/year to month/year) number of hours per week you worked (if part time).     For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here.  The GS-14 salary range starts at $136,414 per year.   To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience leading people in diverse occupations (professional, technical, administrative and trades) in the overall administration and management of repair, renovations, and/or whole commercial office building modernization construction projects. Such experience must include managing the entire project life cycle; i.e., project planning, construction scheduling, construction logistics, budgeting, estimating, cost analysis and control, utilization of resource allocation models to develop cost and personnel budgets, conducting contract negotiations, contract administration and close-out.
