Duties

Administer, control, and coordinate the installation biochemical drug testing program. Provide training to Unit Prevention Leaders. Serve as the technical advisor to unit Commanders. Maintain automated information/reporting systems and prepare statistical reports. Perform and handle specimens collected for drug testing. Meet laboratory working requirements, by properly storing chemicals.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a DA DTC Certification within 9 months after entry on duty.
  • TDY may be required 5% of the time.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes InformationOrganizational AwarenessTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
