This position is part of the, Council of Inspectors General Integrity Efficiency. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing budget estimates, financial plans, operating budgets, income and expense, and other financial data.
Duties
Serves as a lead advisor and support professional for the Executive Director for the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE).
Coordinates and facilitates a range of support efforts and services for the Inspectors General (IG) community.
Conducts evaluations of work products that have far-reaching policy implications; develops and presents independent analyses of complex and/or sensitive matters.
Prepares briefing materials, talking points, and other information that involve Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE)-wide issues for the Executive Director's use at meetings, internal and external presentations, and conferences.
Participates with other Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) management officials in the planning and development of overall goals, objectives, policies, standards, and guidelines that cross internal functional lines as well as those that may impact the Inspectors General (IG) community.
Qualifications
At the GS-15 level, you must meet the following qualification: Must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-14) in the Federal Service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Developed reports and provided recommendations in accordance with policy for agency legislation to achieve program goals and services; Analyzed and evaluated a broad complexity of issues of procedures, management/operational challenges and provided improvement recommendations to the Executive Director; and Applied project management responsibilities and techniques to coordinate work and elevate concerns as needed.

TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g.; Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
There is no subtitution of education at the GS-15 grade level.
