About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation (FamCamp) at Luke AFB, AZ.
This is a Flexible Position, no benefits.
Duties
This position will assist with the FamCamp Manager with day-to-day operation of the facility. Receives and confirms campsite reservations by telephone, email, and face to face contact and inputs them into the computer reservations system. Registers guests, assigns campsites, and checks IDs to ensure only authorized customers use the facility. Maintains daily financial cashier reports, end of month inventory reports, occupancy reports and prepares welcome packages and reference material to assist customers. Informs patrons of all rules and regulations established for the facility. Works night and weekend shifts as required. Responsible for the daily operation of the camp during Managers absence. Assists customers with connecting to the wireless internet access provided by the Fam Camp. Operates cash information System (SAIS) and NAF Data Interface System (NAFDIS) and NAF Resources Information System (NAFRIS) to prepare daily financial reports and end of month inventory. Takes monthly inventories of resale merchandise and notifies manager of items to be ordered. Maintains a clean and orderly office, lobby, community area, keeps front counter dusted and attractively arranged. Checks and cleans bathrooms and showers when needed daily. Maintains the assigned (AED) Automated External Defibrillator with knowledge on how to use equipment. Responds to difficult emergency situations and calls 911. Helps Manager update the FamCamp site maps and coordinate with contractor or marketing to produce new brochures.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience in general clerical work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactory at the grade level of the position. Must be able to multi task and handle a variety of difficult emergency situations. AED (Automated Emergency Defibrillator) certification is desirable. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of a variety of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Must be familiar with military customs and courtesies.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
