This position is located at the Destin Army Recreation Area which is apart of Fort Moore Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). This is a (FLEXIBLE) position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Duties

Performs night audit functions. Checks front desk accounting records for accuracy, and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front desk operating statistics. Prepares daily summary of cash, check, and credit card activities reflecting the hotel's financial performance. Post room charges to guest accounts. Processes credit card vouchers. Verifies all account postings and balances made during the day by front desk clerks. Performs duties as desk clerk in terms of check-in/out, and reservations.

  • Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
  • Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Examples of such duties would be those associated with working as a desk clerk or as an accounting technician. Ability to use a computer for word processing or data entry. Highly Preferred Criteria: Highly Qualified candidates WILL Do you posseess 1 year experience of working retail inventory, preparing bank slip and mantaining financial records? Highly Qualified candidates WILL Do you Posse 2 years experience handling cash and working as a Lodging/Hotel Front Desk Clerk? ***Those applicants that meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to management first. If no selection is made from the highly preferred applicants, applicants that meet the minimum qualifications will be sent to management. ***
