About the Position: Serve as a Program Analyst with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Installations, Energy & Environment) located at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

Duties

Serve as an expert and consultant on Army's installation planning and utilization, stationing, and force structure analyses. Assistant to the DASA for Installations, Housing and Partnerships as an advisor to the Army Secretariat on these programs. Review plans for optimal mix of facilities and oversees opportunities for intergovernmental support agreements to provide base support services. Monitor plans for retaining real property facilities in Army-owned active and inactive production bases and contractor-operated facilities. Establish and conduct joint studies with OSD, other military departments and Government agencies on installation planning and mobilization issues.

  • SECRET CLEARANCE - You must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementBudget AdministrationOral CommunicationPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
