The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison, Government Travel Card Program, Defense Travel system administrator, drug demand reduction program, health program, fitness program.
Duties
Primary point of contact for Government Purchase Card program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, security program, supply program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, security program, civilian timecard program and unit recognition program.
Serves as liaison with personnel flights on personnel issues and assists in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements.
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.
Assist in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
Perform other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes a knowledge of the procedures and techniques involved in carrying out the work of an organization and involves application of procedures and practices within the framework of established guidelines; primary point of contact for all administrative support programs and serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison on personnel issues; assist in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements. NOTE: In-service applicants can qualify with at least 1 year of specialized experience at either the next lower level (GS-06) or the second lower level (GS-05). However, for outside applicants (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service), 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower level is required. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of the organization.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
Knowledge of structure, programs, and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem regulations, and development of concrete plans to solve problems.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
