About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command, Deputy Chief of Staff, Junior ROTC (JROTC), Instructor Management Division, Fort Knox, KY

Duties

Conduct pre-employment security checks, ensuring thorough review, tracking and completion. Apply advanced personnel and security management techniques, military methods, and ROTC program administration within the agency ROTC accession program. Verify data accuracy to produce tailored reports for management guidance and staff, command briefings, future FY year program requirements and projections. Communicate with management at all levels to coordinate the acquisition of sensitive information Provide guidance and assistance in the administration of the JROTC Instructor Background Check program. Assess customer needs, provide advisory services, and make recommendations regarding security clearances based on thorough case analysis Analyze security clearances and suitability policies to accurately adjudicate investigations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 5% of the time.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment Drug Screen.
  • One year probationary period may be required.

Education

Master's or equivalent graduate degree (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
