This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA.

Duties

Maintain contract requirements and specifications in an industry operation. Explain contract requirements to contracting personnel, contractors, and reviewing officials. Apply financial management policies and procedure in contracts. Maintain files of surveillance, correspondence, sample determinations and other pertinent contract data.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position requires a pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification is required within 1 month of employment.
• A 1 year probationary period may be required.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Basic Requirement for: Contracting Officer Representative Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Advising on contract policies and procedures to ensure contract performances (pre-award, post-award, and price/analysis) are in compliance with terms and conditions; Maintaining a contract filing system from development, pre-award, post-award and termination or closure AND Analyzing requirements for use in acquiring contracted services or products.
