You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the PRODUCTION RESOURCE DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will assign tasks, tools, equipment and materials to workers; lay out work for the group and interpret plans and instructions.
You will instruct workers on proper methods, use and care of equipment, and safe work practices.
You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment and assists trade help required with shop planners; and plans sequences of tasks, layouts, worker assignments and any special work methods to be utilized.
You will preview job at worksite; coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment and assists trade help required with shop planners and plans sequence of tasks, layouts, worker assignments.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
