This position is part of the Y-12 Field Office, Department of Energy. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Program Analyst, analyzing various programs for effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of mission-oriented programs and projects.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Conducting at least three (3) of the following four (4) activities:
1. Reviewing regulatory compliance of programs consistent with industry practices.
2. Reviewing required guidance, program plans, and/or long-term strategies.
3. Identifying potential problems and issues with program management.
4. Reviewing risk management strategies on programs of varying complexity.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Reviewing regulatory compliance of programs consistent with industry practices such as assessments, audits, meeting internal external guidance/regulations.
2. Reviewing required guidance, program plans, and/or long-term strategies such as strategic planning.
3. Identifying potential problems and issues with program management such as addressing audit findings, streamlining processes.
4. Reviewing risk management strategies on programs of varying complexity such as bridging strategies, control/mitigation processes, identifying risks.
