You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NSMA.
Duties
You will perform as the Integrated Logistics Manager, maintaining control of the Logistics Support package and developing task plans of action and milestones.
You will be responsible for updating the program office Logistics plans.
You will compose analytical reports and studies for presentation to management.
You will assist in the development of Contract requirements, performing as the Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR).

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing support in managing and maintaining of the systems Logistics; 2) Providing input for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring the development and implementation of systems; 3) Managing logistics projects for research development, production, testing and evaluation; and 4) Developing acquisition documents to support milestone decisions, development and production activities prior to fielding.
