Duties

You will be responsible for the coordination of construction programs aboard the air facility ensuring minimal impact to operations. You will coordinate Navy Aircraft Logistics Operations (NALO) line missions in support of MARFORPAC units and training of pilots, crew chiefs and loadmasters for C-20G operations. You will coordinate final determination to resolve conflicts in scheduling unit support. You will develop, staffs, coordinates, and executes the MCAF destructive weather plan.

  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide technical expertise in Airfield Operations to include; manage day to day operations of the airfield (e.g. airfield maintenance, security measures, airfield safety, air traffic control, airfield surveys, and customs inspections) and supervise through subordinate supervisors all facets of the airfield involving administrative, clerical, and technical duties.
