About the Position: Serves under the Chief, Program Management Division, G3/5/7 U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE). Uses the full range of functions, including advanced processes, in support of the education and training development and management systems and their databases and/or desktop publishing applications to produce a variety of training documents and reports.

Duties

Compares training development databases for continuity of products. Provides requested reports and data for courses managed in the Army Training Requirements and Resources System. Tracks course and student documentation for timely posting and resolution to conflicts. Prepares a variety of documents including reports, presentation and briefing materials in accordance with established guidelines.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing word processing and desktop publishing software in order to perform a range of operations and produce proper formats; operating personal computer to develop grammatically correct technical documents; devising new methods of office automation support; assisting customers with problems that may arise in automation equipment; maintaining documents, user manuals, reference books and operating handbooks for training management functions; and interpreting general procedural guidelines, including software user manuals, correspondence procedures, and style manuals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
