You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the OFFICE OF THE ASSOCIATE PROVOST AND DEAN OF RESEARCH of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.
Duties
You will advise management and staff on labor processes and procedures.
You will edit or proofread correspondence and documents prepared by others for correct format content.
You will maintain files (e.g., entering, retrieving, reviewing, updating data), ensuring accuracy and propriety of data.
You will coordinate with managers and staff to obtain forms and documentation required to support budget estimates.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising others on the automated information support systems required for the collection, analysis, and use of data; 2) Developing communication strategies for an organization; 3) Establishing priorities for the implementation of management systems; 4) Identifying and collecting data required to meet program information requirements; and 5) Compiling data calls from others and organize data into simplified and relative data for analysis.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or
Two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
