Duties

You will provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) and be accountable for all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for assigned program(s). You will be responsible for Part Identification, Nomenclature, Configuration Management, and Stock Control and Distribution, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR). You will provide support for the development of life-cycle logistics acquisition documentation, provide logistics input to other acquisition documentation as well as determine the acceptability of contractor prepared acquisition deliverables. You will provide deliverables to leadership in conjunction with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) personnel, weekly reviews with the Program Manager (PM) or IPT Leadership and as necessary. You will procure, plan, and execute activities of receipt and inspection for Government-to-Government equipment deliveries, managing FIAR compliance, providing ILS status reports and briefings to external stakeholders. You will use command system databases such as Configuration Management Professional (CMPro), Naval Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). You will support the Integrated Product Team by managing the material procurement processes, providing guidance and advice on authorized types of procurements (single award order, multi award order, simplified acquisition order P-card orders).

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting life cycle cost analysis for systems, conducting material management or obsolescence management, providing support solutions for logistics or product support elements; AND/OR developing acquisition or logistics documentation. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

To qualify via education:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
