Duties
You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Management for technical issues regarding the twelve IPS elements.
You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on all logistics aspects of assigned projects/programs.
You will provide oversight to contractor team members conducting product support efforts.
You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provide input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables.
You will interpret configuration management activities and tools; working with the configuration manager for projects; suggesting alternative revisions and assisting in implementation of new strategies.
You will provide support in the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing acquisition documents such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Performance Work Statements; applying Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to manage product support for communications, IT and/or defense business system programs.
