You will serve as an IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) in the N612 Acquisition Management Branch, Portfolio Services Division, Information Technology Department of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Duties
You will serve as an expert in development of complex acquisition plans for IT projects to meet IT portfolio management requirements.
You will serve as an acquisition lead for IT procurement packages, including ITPR and ProTrack submissions.
You will develop and maintain requirements documentation for IT projects.
You will serve as a consultant and translate user requirements into appropriate IT equipment, techniques, and operational procedures to prepare technical specifications for acquisition of equipment, software, or services.
You will assist in the development of budget estimates for IT acquisitions.
You will serve as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on major IT acquisitions and provide contract administration for the life of the contract.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in the private or public sector such as experience in contract management, including writing and reviewing technical documentation. Experience with tracking IT expenditures, such as preparing, justifying and administering an IT budget. Experience with planning, implementing, tracking and/or evaluating configuration/requirement changes across the enterprise and organizations. Experience with the preparation of IT procurement packages including the development of work statements, justifications, and funding documents. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
