This position is located in a district or area office within one of the six (6) regional offices (RO) of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). The purpose of OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal Government. This position is Outside the bargaining unit.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. GS-14: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Experience in analyzing and/or investigating compliance with federal, state, and/or local government laws and regulations (e.g., employment discrimination, labor standards, safety, and health, etc.); Directs staff to conduct detailed and comprehensive analyses of complex investigations to determine compliance with federal, state, and/or local government laws and regulations (e.g., employment discrimination, labor standards, safety, and health, etc.); Experience in conducting and/or participating in interviews, negotiations, and conciliation to resolve noncompliance with federal requirements; and Experience in developing cases for which administrative and/or judicial actions are appropriate and recommends actions.
