Duties

You will manage funds, track, expedite and update status of mission critical parts. You will manage Wing directed aircraft part cannibalizations required to achieve readiness requirements. You will conduct extensive and exhaustive research and making purchases to include, but not limited to work center and office furnishings, office equipment, stencil machines, intercoms, and other required items. You will instruct and provide recommendations to senior and junior squadron personnel in the proper use of OFC-01 and OFC-50 funding. You will utilize Aviation Storekeeper Information Tracking (ASKIT), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), One Touch Support (OTS), DOD E-Mall/Fed-Mall, DSS-MRO Tracking, FEDLOG, DLA DAASINQ, GSA Advantage, WEBFLIS, and DSO/DLA DAPS. You will conduct Maintenance Program Assessment (MPA) inspections. You will manage all facilities, to include maintenance and upkeep of building 001, 4 hangers and accompanying modules housing 14 squadrons to include: monitoring trouble calls, modifications and security upgrades. You will coordinate space assignment, turnover, and key control. You will perform other duties related and required by the position as assigned by Maintenance Department leadership.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This position may require lifting up to 60lbs.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a full range of logistics support tasks by managing funds and making purchases for staff to ensure operational readiness. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

or

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
