About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Services Flight Bowling Center.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
Duties
Assists in the operation and maintenance of the Bowling Center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for counter control operation which includes assignment of bowling lanes, shoe rental, cash control, locker rental, sale of bowling merchandise, and assisting customers.
Prepares daily reports and deposits receipts in the safe at the close of each shift. Insures leagues start at the correct time, noting unusual delays and informs league officials of any corrective action that may be required.
When closing the facility, completes all checklists and ensures building is secure.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge and experience in bowling program activities is desired.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash. Skill in the use of bowling equipment is desired.
Ability to work an irregular schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Position is a position of trust.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
