About the position: This position will be assigned to the SLD 30 /30 FSS/Community Services Flight ITT.
Duties
Assists in the program operation of a comprehensive tours and entertainment program. Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing tours to historical, shopping and informational places of interest for groups, clubs, and individuals. Recommends new programs to include the types of trips and the resources required. Assists management in conducting resale inventory and ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained. Receives and resolves customer complaints and requests. Actively seeks facts on hotels/motels, attractions and community events. Maintains and necessary stock of entertainment admission vouchers for all local theme parks, concerts, and special events for California. Assists individuals with special interest to develop personalized tours for clubs and special interest groups. Assists in establishing and maintaining frequent contact with promoters, managers, and representatives to ensure ITT is current on all tickets to events and attractions. Arranges for supplies, equipment and services to be needed to accomplish scheduled activities with budget allowances. Assures administrative management of the operation conforms to applicable guidelines. Develops, implements, and maintains the ITT publicity program.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have the ability and experience to provide a general familiarity and understanding of the purpose of recreational programs as they relate to an ITT operation, as well as routines and procedures for the ticket and tour operation.
Requires experience in: cash handling, resource protection, and established experience in internal control procedures and techniques related to the sale of tickets and tours.
Requires tack and courtesy in dealing with internal and external customers.
Familiarity with NAF purchasing procedures, knowledge of sources, transportation methods and payment procedures.
Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
