Duties

AOC is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to develop and employ innovative and creative recruitment strategies to attract and identify highly qualified talent that are aligned with AOC’s mission, vision and core values of Respect, Integrity, Safety and Empowerment. The successful candidate will be a collaborative business partner with a diverse group of hiring managers and stakeholders across the organization and have the ability to positively influence and impact the acquisition of the best talent for AOC's current and future workforce needs.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. It is available for your review on the OPM web site at OPM classification standards Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as the following: (1) Demonstrated ability and effectiveness in tactical and strategic sourcing to attract and identify highly qualified candidates; (2) Experience in analyzing recruitment needs, and formulating effective and innovative recruitment strategies to meet workforce requirements; (3) Demonstrated experience in building relationships and providing responsive, detail-oriented and follow-through customer service; (4) Mastery of human capital management principles, concepts, regulations, and analytical methods and techniques needed to develop a successful talent acquisition program; and (5) Experience in developing strategies to source qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
