Duties

As a Management Analyst you will: Analyze and evaluate the management practices and methods, and administrative operations of an organizational unit or segment of an organizational unit. Oversee the organization's human resources requirements. Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to management in a wide variety of management services areas with an emphasis on improving organizational efficiency and productivity. Analyze and evaluate the quality, effectiveness, and responsiveness of the management services and in identifying areas for potential improvement.

Qualifications

All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level, which must include the following experience: 1) analyzing and/or evaluating the practices of human resources and administrative operations of an organization and 2) developing internal administrative and management policies and guidelines. OR Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university. OR Have a combination of graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. Note: For applicants who are substituting their Graduate level education for experience you must submit a copy of your college transcript. If selected, you will be required to submit original official transcript(s) before being appointed. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
