You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
You will work with DON personnel and contractors in forecasting readiness through existing reporting systems, models, and participate in the development of new algorithms and tools to support data manipulation and processing.
You will analyze readiness assessments of Navy's operational nits and determine Navy readiness at large.
You will support development and review of a variety of mandatory Readiness reports.
You will manage data standards, conduct data quality reviews and validation, and ensure effective organizing of complex baseline data.
You will support discussions with stakeholders, Joint Staff, and senior leaders, with analytical results and assist decision makers to achieve consensus.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following;
Generating mandatory readiness reports using the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) database.
Working knowledge of military readiness and experience with readiness reporting systems.
Utilizing excellent writing skills, methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to interpret and document findings from various data sets related to readiness.
Interacting with persons at high levels of DoD leadership while providing readiness-related briefings to Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officers / Flag Officers (GO/FO).
Documenting the state of Navy's overall readiness and submitting information in the form of mandatory reports.
