Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as providing direction on programs concerning diesel emissions reduction and GHG (greenhouse gas) reduction in mobile source sectors. Providing advice on diesel emissions reduction and/or GHG (greenhouse gas) reduction in mobile source sectors. Reviewing grants, cooperative agreements, and/or inter-agency agreements.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of program principles, concepts, practices, methods, and techniques.
Knowledge of environmental policy to originate concepts and effect new developments applicable to emerging functions of national magnitude.
Knowledge of organizational goals consistent with vision and mission to evaluate extensive, complex, and often conflicting information.
Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders regarding agency's policies and programs.
Ability to work cooperatively, and in a leadership capacity, with a variety of entities representing a broad range of interests.
Ability to work through highly visible, complex, and controversial issues.
