Duties
You will begin all responsibility statements with 'You will'; each field should have no more than one sentence; list the responsibilities in a logical order; and avoid using federal or military jargon. 250 Characters.
You will perform investigations and site visits regularly, and provide technical assistance, guidance, and information to generating activities and units concerning what to turn in for recycling.
You will keep record of items received, delivered, or shipped out.
You will ensure recycling activities performed are done in compliance with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
You will serve as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing trades and labor work on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This is a Bargaining Unit position.
- You must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- You must be able to secure a forklift operator permit within six months of hire.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to frequently lift and carry materials, supplies and equipment weighing up to an in excess of 50 pounds.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You may be required to to occasionally travel off-basde for a period up to 5 days. Regular work schedule may include Saturdays.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Perfom the Duties of the Position without more than Normal Supervision. Sample tasks of the position include: Preparing items for recycling by bailing, dismantling, packing, or palletizing; AND collecting recyclables in specialized recycling vehicles.
