You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) at the NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT LOS ANGELES.
Duties
You will maintain files and employee records (e.g., position descriptions, training records) in accordance with policy.
You will extract personnel actions from a human resources information system for distribution to customers.
You will respond to customer inquiries by researching human resources rules or regulations.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting military regulations regarding military processing and enlisted recruiting; 2) Preparing reports or briefs to submit to management on enlisted programs; 3) Utilizing computers and software to perform a variety of basic automated operations and functions
