This position is located in the Roswell NM Field Office.
Duties
Perform technical evaluation and analysis using many different and unrelated processes and methods requiring ingenuity, and experienced knowledge and skill, including in emerging practices and methods, to identify, evaluate, assess unusual circumstances, and recommend appropriate solutions to a broad range of complex interrelated problems.
Develop innovative methods, approaches, or procedures.
Provide comprehensive management advisory and technical services on substantive functions and practices.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience GS-11: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-10 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction and/or proposed/ongoing projects; (2) reviewing designs for compliance with current industry practices; (3) preparing draft design requirements and specifications; (4) utilizing automated engineering drafting and design systems and applications.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-10 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).

You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as "varies".
Education
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-11 grade level of this announcement.
