You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the SHIP TO SHORE CONNECTOR (SSC), CODE 115 PROJECT OFFICE of SUPSHIP GULF COAST.
Duties
You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Waterfront Operations, Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) Project Office.
You will serve as part of the C4N Test Team, manage and coordinate all aspects of Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, Progress and Testing of all electronic systems of SSC craft undergoing construction for SUPSHIP Gulf Coast.
You will provide technical guidance to contractor, Supervisor, and Program Office to resolve technical issues.
You will monitor activities of contractor to assure quality and efficiency in shipbuilding.
You will review specification and procedure revisions for technical viability.
You will advise Supervisor and Program Office on technical aspects of projects.
You will create reports for Supervisor and Program Office.
You will review contractor deliverables for contractual compliance.
You will coordinate with outside government activities to encourage positive progress in shipbuilding.
You will interact with contractors to solve complex and difficult technical, schedule, and quality problems.
You will monitor the performance of test procedures by contractors.
You will review and approve deck plate revisions to test procedures.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band GS-11 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing or evaluating electrical or electronics systems technical requirements for the development, test and evaluation, and certification of modified or improved systems, subsystems, or equipment to support a navigation control program.

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band GS-09 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: collecting data of electrical or electronics systems technical requirements for the development, test and evaluation, and certification of modified or improved systems, subsystems, or equipment to support a navigation control program.
