You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Office of the Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations Personnel, Manpower, and Training of PERS WASHINGTON.
Duties
You will analyze enterprise architecture to identify gaps and areas to improve integration across an enterprise.
You will migrate data and applications to cloud-based solutions.
You will monitor the performance of a database to ensure alignment with cloud-based infrastructure.
You will implement information technology (IT) policy to support IT laws and regulations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Migration of legacy on-premise IT applications and data to cloud based solutions. 2) Functioning as project manager to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close complex IT related projects. 3) Reviewing and amending IT plans and policies to respond to changes in the organization's business requirements and processes or changes in legislation or regulatory requirements. 4) Conduct operating system security evaluations to verify compliance with information assurance (IA) requirements. and 5) Analyze hardware or software integration into information systems to develop test or evaluation procedures.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area (806) Project Manager and as a condition of employment the incumbent of the position is required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which include:
1. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned, and; 2. Participate in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.
2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development (IDP) signed by both the employee and supervisor.
