You will serve as an IT Project Manager (INFOSEC/SYSANALYSIS) in the Cybersecurity Engineering Branch of the Cyber Engineering and Advanced Tech Division of the Test and Evaluation Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will manage the planning and successful execution of projects consisting of one of more IT-related disciplines including hardware/software, protocols and techniques used in processing, and transmitting and safeguarding communications.
You will coordinate programmatic activities and interpret National, DOD and DON security policies relevant to the projects assigned.
You will work with government and contract teams to identify programmatic and technical risks, develop and monitor adherence to plans for attaining cost, schedule and performance goals.
You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and network services, data, and capabilities.
You will identify and eliminate vulnerabilities to systems and networks that could result in a denial of service and/or the disclosure, modification, or destruction of data.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 IT Project Manager level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading vulnerability assessments in systems/networks to develop effective resolutions to issues and provide technical expertise that ensures operational success. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the conduction of vulnerability assessments in systems and/or evaluating assessment results to propose resolutions to issues and ensure operational success. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
