Duties
Serves as Production Manager responsible for obtaining, monitoring, meeting, and reporting on a wide variety of production related products, reports, advisories and services essential to the effective operations of DLA Human Resources Services.
Provides technical and administrative oversight of production management of HR services in classification, recruitment and placement, RPA processing, and disciplinary action areas.
Ensures that all related HR policies and procedures are consistently applied by customer teams and that metrics for timeliness and quality are met.
Conducts regular production meetings with teams to monitor and evaluate metrics such as those for time to fill (TTF), pay actions timeliness, and classification and disciplinary actions.
Ensures that workload surges are shifted to expedite the classification, recruitment, and disciplinary actions processes.
Receives and reviews reports on metrics and other data from a variety of sources; provides in-depth analysis to on monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics data for reporting at the Agency and DoD levels.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Human Resources Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Processing personnel, recruitment, classification, and/or disciplinary actions while adhering to established metrics
- Providing advice on work methods, practices, and procedures for multiple HR disciplines
- Compiling and analyzing data to improve efficiency of HR processes
- Scheduling and monitoring HR workload and making adjustments as needed
- Utilizing organizational data metrics to measure program effectiveness

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
